WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Apr. 5, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Megan Moon has been named to Jacksonville Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list for 2018.
“This list contains Northeast Florida's brightest, most-promising professionals who have achieved a high level of responsibility in both their careers and our community,” stated the Jacksonville Business Journal.
The annual award selects honorees with significant achievements in business, leadership, and community involvement in Northeast Florida. Each individual was named to the list through consultation with Jacksonville-area business leaders.
As a member of Gunster’s business litigation practice, Moon has played a key role in bringing litigation success to some of the state’s largest institutional clients. In addition to her legal work for the firm, Moon serves on the board of governors for the Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association. In 2017, she helped raise $8,500 for the Anthony J. Stinson Association for Change through the Jacksonville Bar’s chili cook-off event.
“The most important contribution to any community is time spent with those different from you, particularly those that may not have the same opportunities for success,” said Moon when asked about her commitment to the Jacksonville community.
Moon and the additional honorees will be recognized at the annual 40 Under 40 Awards Celebration on Thursday, April 19 at Everbank Field.
