WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (August 27, 2014) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that three of its attorneys have recently been selected for roles in Leadership Florida’s young professionals program, the highly selective Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute. The program’s mission is to educate, engage and inspire the state’s emerging leaders.

Roger Feicht has been selected as chair-elect of the 2014-15 board of governors of Connect Florida, leading regional activity of the organization, and will serve on the 2014-15 leadership team for Leadership Florida. Feicht has served on the Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute board of governors since 2012, and was its recruitment director from 2012-13. He participated in the Class II Leadership Institute Program in 2011-12. Feicht is an associate in Gunster’s West Palm Beach office. He focuses his practice on employment law and commercial litigation.

Keith Sonderling will also serve on the Connect Florida board of governors for 2014-15, and has been appointed its recruitment chair. He participated in the Class IV Leadership Institute Program (2013-14). Sonderling is an employment law attorney based in Gunster’s West Palm Beach office who focuses his practice on labor and employment litigation, and complex commercial litigation. In 2012, he was appointed by Florida Gov. Rick Scott to serve a four-year term on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 4th District Court of Appeals, and was recently appointed the commission’s vice chair for 2014-15.

Joseph P. Chase was recently accepted into the Class V Leadership Institute Program (2014-15). He is currently on the boards of directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, YMCA of the Palm Beaches, and Friends of the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach. Chase is an associate in Gunster’s West Palm Beach office. He focuses his practice on business and corporate law, with an emphasis on private-company mergers and acquisitions.
