Press Release

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (July 6, 2015) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Roger W. Feicht, an associate in its West Palm Beach office, has been named chair of Connect Florida’s board of governors for the 2015-16 term. He has served on the board since 2012.

Feicht will lead the board, which operates the highly selective Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute, Leadership Florida’s young professionals program. Connect Florida’s mission is to educate, engage and inspire the state’s emerging leaders.

Previously, Feicht was Connect Florida’s recruitment director (2012-13), Gulfstream regional chair (2013-2014) and chair-elect (2014-2015).

Feicht focuses his practice on employment law and commercial litigation, advising employers and employees on employment law issues. He regularly assists businesses with conducting internal investigations, hiring and firing of employees, and responding to claims of defamation, discrimination and harassment. He has also drafted and enforced employment agreements, company policies and noncompetition agreements.

In June, his article “True and False? Florida’s Confused Defamation Laws,” was published in the Daily Business Review.
