WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 13, 2014) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Simon Ferro, a shareholder in its Miami office, has been inducted into the Miami Dade College 2014 Hall of Fame.

Simon Ferro has more than 30 years’ experience in the areas of zoning, land use and governmental relations. He is a former U.S. ambassador to Panama and maintains strong ties in Latin America.

Each year, MDC selects accomplished alumni who have made a significant impact in the community and Miami Dade County for the honor.

Prior to that appointment, he served on the Board of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) from 1994-99.
