WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce the promotion to shareholder for six associate attorneys of the firm.

“The board of directors has invited a few of our talented associates to become shareholders of the firm, a memorable milestone in every lawyer’s career,” said Bill Perry, managing shareholder of Gunster. “This year, six individuals have earned the right to be called a shareholder at Gunster and will play an important part in the firm’s future.”

Jonathan has a diverse litigation practice advocating, counseling and advising a wide range of clientele in the firm’s Miami office. He joined Gunster in 2014 and earned both his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Florida.

Gus Schmidt | Corporate law | Fort LauderdaleGunster attorney Gus Schmidt

Gus works out of the Fort Lauderdale office and focuses his practice on securities and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, bank regulation, capital raising, capital markets and general corporate matters. Gus joined Gunster in 2010 and achieved his B.A. at Boston University and his J.D. at the University of Florida.

Josh practices in Gunster’s Boca Raton office, and is a member of the firm’s Private Wealth Services group. He came to Gunster in 2016 and holds a B.S. degree from University of Florida, a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, and an LL.M from the University of Florida.

Nick is a probate litigator who focuses his practice on complex fiduciary, guardianship, will and trust litigation in the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He joined the firm in 2010 and achieved his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and his law degree from Stetson University.

Roger practices in West Palm Beach where he focuses on advising employers and employees on employment law issues, with a particular emphasis on defending and prosecuting employment related lawsuits. He came to Gunster in 2010 and obtained his B.A. from University of Miami and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University.

Nick works in our Jacksonville office focusing on real estate transactions within the Real Property practice group. He joined Gunster in 2011 and earned his B.S. from University of Florida and his J.D. from Florida State University.
