Ana Johnson concentrates her practice on general and complex commercial litigation matters. In addition to her trial and courtroom experience, Ana is involved in major e-discovery matters, including managing large scale, electronic review projects. Notably, Ana has earned the CEDS (certified e-discovery specialist) designation from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists, and is involved with the organization's local chapter, ACEDS Jacksonville.
Ana co-chairs Gunster's eDiscovery practice. Discovery is one of the most expensive and intrusive aspects of litigation. As a result, Ana and the eDiscovery team are dedicated to using the latest tools and techniques to strive to minimize the negative impacts of discovery, and maximize the effectiveness of each clients' legal spend.
Ana regularly works with clients to respond to the challenges of e-discovery and preservation under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. This includes the development of initial strategies for preserving, collecting and processing electronically stored information, as well as advising on best practices to meet a client's specific needs.
In addition, Ana brings experience in arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She has also represented a variety of corporate clients and has appeared before a number of state and federal courts.
