Jenelly Perez

Overview

Jenelly Perez is a Real Property associate in the Miami office. She primarily focuses her practice on property and business litigation matters. Jenelly graduated cum laude from Florida State University College of Law. She served on the board of the Florida State University Law Review as an article editor, the executive board of the Moot Court team as recruitment chair, and on the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law as a staff editor. She also served as a legal research and writing teaching assistant for first-year students. Before graduating law school, Jenelly actively gained litigation experience as a certified legal intern at the Leon County State Attorney’s office, where she managed her own caseload and appeared in court regularly on behalf of the State of Florida.

A South Florida native, Jenelly received her undergraduate degree in political science from Florida International University in 2020, graduating summa cum laude. During this time, she externed at the Florida Department of Transportation’s Office of the General Counsel, where she worked on eminent domain and real property transactional matters. When not practicing law, Jenelly enjoys spending time with her family, rock climbing and reading fiction.
