Jorge Zamora, Jr. represents private and public sector employers in complex labor and employment matters. He is dedicated to leveraging his experience and proactive approach to problem solving to achieve the best possible result for his clients. Jorge regularly advises and assists members of management and human resource personnel with day-to-day issues as they arise in real-time. He also represents employers of all sizes ranging from small business to national holding companies in the technology, hospitality, retail, construction and transportation industries.
Jorge's litigation practice in federal and state court focuses on class and collective wage/hour claims, wrongful termination, discrimination, workplace harassment, public accommodation, employee leaves and whistleblowing. He regularly interacts with local, state and federal agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and National Labor Relations Board. In addition, Jorge represents employers in Occupational Safety and Health Administration matters.
Jorge spends his time outside of the office with his family and friends. He is also a committed practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he has pursued for more than a decade and holds the rank of Black Belt.
