Overview
For over forty years, William Schifino, Sr. has been dedicated to providing clients with legal services relating to corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and municipal financings.
Over the course of his career, William has represented investment banking firms and issuers in connection with public and private financings, assisting over one hundred clients in their quests to expand privately held entities into publicly traded companies.
William has also worked with investment banking firms and municipalities on tax-exempt bond issues and other financing methods. His experience spans a range of corporate and municipal financings, including initial and secondary public offerings of common stock, debentures, convertible debentures, real estate investment trusts, and various forms of municipal bond issues and other financing measures.
William was a member of the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., Division of Corporation Finance. In 1966, He relocated to Tampa and established his own firm that advised on securities-related work.
