Cameron has worked as a governmental consultant for nearly two decades in Tallahassee. His prior experience includes various positions within the Executive Office of the Governor, serving as a legislative liaison for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, as well as a legislative director for Department of Management Services.
Cameron has expanded on his wealth of practical experience and academic foundation in Political Science by pursuing studies toward a Masters degree in Public Administration. He is a community leader whose current public service commitments include acting as chairman of the Tallahassee–Leon County Board of Adjustment and Appeals, and actively supporting the Seminole Booster Foundation. He is also a former chairman of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
