Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to have once again been named one of Florida’s “Best Companies To Work For” in 2023 by Florida Trend magazine. This marks the seventh year in a row that the firm has been recognized with this prestigious honor. Gunster remains the only Florida-focused law firm to be ranked in the Best Large Companies (250 or more employees) category.
The Best Companies To Work For in Florida program is managed by Florida Trend and Workforce Research Group, and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. The annual survey is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the state’s 100 best employers. Companies that opted to participate underwent a rigorous evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The two-step process also included an anonymous survey to measure employee satisfaction, providing organizations with valuable feedback.
In the confidential survey, one employee stated “Gunster is very well respected in the state and has a great reputation. The firm has very talented people at all levels and in all departments.” Another commented that “Gunster has formed a culture of people first, business second and it truly resonates throughout the entire firm. It is a pleasure to work with such accomplished, intelligent professionals who truly encourage my professional growth and development.” Yet a third employee noted “There is real belief (and action) behind our value that ‘The people we pay are more important than the people who pay us’ – a common firm leadership saying.”
