Representing wealthy individuals and their family members, trustees and beneficiaries, Grant Kindrick has resolved numerous high-profile private wealth litigation matters, including trust, probate and guardianship matters, and closely held business disputes.

His experience includes asserting and defending will contests, contentious trusts and estates disputes, breach of fiduciary duty and trust modification cases, competency proceedings, spousal rights litigation, family business succession-related matters, and cases involving allegations of undue influence or professional negligence. He also represents charitable institutions and private foundations as beneficiaries and handles cases involving the Principal and Income Act and the Prudent Investor Act.

A skilled trial lawyer, he has represented clients in circuit court, federal court, probate court, arbitration proceedings, state and federal appellate courts, and administrative proceedings.

In each instance, Grant assesses the parties’ positions, the level of contention, desired outcome and likely results. Then, with a nuanced understanding of the substantive and procedural subtleties and complexities, he seeks to devise strategies to achieve the best possible outcome for each client.
