T. Robert “Bob” Zochowski has both public and private sector experience. His private sector practice includes estate planning, tax law, wills, trusts and probate, with an emphasis in real estate, business and corporate law for the past 24 years.

In the public sector, Bob served in numerous capacities including as deputy attorney general of the State of New Jersey for five years, where he was counsel to the Inheritance Tax Bureau of the New Jersey Division of Taxation and to the Department of Banking. He was also involved as a deputy attorney general in the establishment of the New Jersey Sales Tax and the State Lottery, and implemented “due process and hearing” procedures in several areas of his responsibility. He also served as a member of the joint legislative committee on ethical standards.

In addition to his service at the state level, Bob has served as a municipal court judge for six years, as a prosecutor for several New Jersey Townships, as a legal adviser to various governmental agencies, and as counsel to the Middlesex County ethics board. In 1982, Bob was appointed by President Reagan to the “Statue of Liberty – Ellis Island Centennial Commission.” He was also a member of the “Operation Sail Commission.”

Bob has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1990. He is also a member of the New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia bars. In addition, Bob has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for New Jersey since 1967, United States Tax Court since 1969, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit since 1998, and the Supreme Court of the United States since 1971.
