Elizabeth Bowers | Private Wealth Services | West Palm Beach/Boca Raton
Bowers is a probate litigator and estate planner in Gunster’s Private Wealth Services practice. She practices exclusively in fiduciary litigation, estate planning and estate and trust administration. She joined the firm in 2016 and holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and additionally holds an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida.
Holly Griffin Goodman | Labor & Employment | West Palm Beach
Goodman’s practice focuses primarily on counseling clients, from small businesses to large institutions, in every day employment matters. She helps employers protect their interests by preparing and updating employment forms, policies and procedures to comply with state and federal law, including employee handbooks, employment applications and employment related agreements. She came to Gunster in 2014 and holds a B.A. from the University of West Florida and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
Nathan W. Hill | Business Litigation | Orlando/West Palm Beach
Hill joined Gunster in 2013 after a two-year clerkship with a federal district court judge. He returned to the firm in 2019 after serving for more than three years as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. Hill now practices primarily in federal court and has represented clients in a variety of matters, including defense of professional liability claims and civil enforcement proceedings and white-collar criminal defense. He holds a B.A. as well as a M.A. from the University of Central Florida and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
Deborah K. Madden | Environmental & Land Use | Fort Lauderdale
Madden represents clients in court proceedings and before administrative law judges on a variety of environmental permitting, compliance and regulatory claims issues involving water resources, wetlands, water supply and other matters. Her clients include developers, agricultural interests and public and private companies. She joined Gunster in 2012 and holds a B.S. from the University of Florida and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Timothy J. McGinn | Business Litigation | Miami
McGinn’s practice focuses on the litigation and resolution of complex civil disputes. He has experience defending corporate clients against breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust, civil racketeering, and securities fraud claims in federal and state courts. McGinn has also spearheaded clients’ investigations of alleged insider trading, self-dealing, and other financial misconduct. He joined Gunster in 2017 and holds a A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from the Duke University School of Law.
Lauren Vickroy Purdy | Business Litigation | Jacksonville
Purdy advises local, national and multinational clients in a wide array of business disputes in both state and federal courts. Her practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, transportation and professional liability matters at both the trial and appellate court levels. Purdy’s experience in trial and appellate courts includes the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in jury trials, bench trials and arbitration hearings. She joined Gunster in 2013 and holds a B.A. from the Ouachita Baptist University and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
Stephanie Quinones | Corporate & Technology | Fort Lauderdale
Quinones regularly counsels entrepreneurs and in-house counsel on business contracting, technology, intellectual property licensing, Internet/social media and privacy issues. Additionally, her practice focuses on providing general strategic advice to businesses in all stages of the business cycle, including drafting and negotiating a broad array of commercial agreements and assisting emerging growth and entrepreneurial companies raise capital. She joined Gunster in 2012 and holds a B.A. from Nova Southeastern University and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
Amy S. L. Terwilleger | Business Litigation | West Palm Beach
Terwilleger focuses her practice on the defense of legal and accounting professional malpractice claims. She also assists clients in general business litigation, including contract and shareholder disputes in federal and state courts throughout Florida, as well as in arbitration. Terwilleger has significant experience with electronic discovery and has managed high volume, electronic document review and production projects. She joined Gunster in 2012 and holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Van Lenten’s practice focuses on probate, trust, guardianship and fiduciary litigation, as well as fiduciary risk management and counseling professional fiduciaries. He is a member of the Florida, New York and New Jersey Bars, and the Executive Council of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section.
