A lawsuit between the Niagra Falls School District and its former software system supplier, CrossPointe Schools Online of Orlando, has settled with no money involved, The Buffalo News reports.

Michael W. Marcil, leader of Gunster’s business litigation practice, represented CrossPointe in the matter.

The school district sought a refund from it’s then-supplier, and filed suit in 2007. The lawsuit was dropped when new school board leadership took office, according to the Buffalo News article.

“We unfortunately got caught up in local politics,” CrossPointe CEO Joan Keebler told the News.
