Fifth attorney at Gunster to receive highest score in his DCA since 1999
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 11, 2007) — Danny Glassman, a corporate attorney at Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart in West Palm Beach and a member of its Tax Practice Group, received the highest combined score on the Florida Bar exam for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, which is comprised of Palm Beach, Broward, St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties. In the last five years, three Gunster attorneys have received the highest score in Fourth DCA: litigation attorneys Nicole Atkinson and Bryan Miller, and Amy Zipper, an attorney in the Private Wealth Services group. David Scileppi, a corporate attorney in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office, received the highest grade in the Third DCA.
Glassman concentrates his practice in federal and state taxation, including corporate, partnership and individual taxation; general corporate law; and estate and gift tax.
He received his juris doctorate graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida, where he finished first in his class. While in law school, Glassman served as the managing editor of the Florida Law Review and received 10 Book Awards. He received his master’s of accounting degree and his bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Florida.
