This morning, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Senate President Joe Negron, and House Speaker Richard Corcoran held a joint press conference in Miami to announce that the governor will sign the $82.4 billion budget, with $410 million of vetoes for certain member projects and portions pertaining to K-12 education funding.
Haiti’s designation for temporary protected status extended for 6 months
Secretary of Homeland Security John F. Kelly announced on May 22, 2017 his decision to extend – for an additional six months – the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Haiti. This extension is effective from July 23, 2017 through January 22, 2018.
