UPDATE: Gunster is pleased to announce that it was honored to receive the 2016 Business of the Year Award at this year’s Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches Business Awards breakfast.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches has named Gunster as a finalist for one of its 2016 Business Awards. To announce the winners of the awards, the Chamber will host an awards breakfast on May 20.
Annually, the Chamber of Commerce honors businesses and individuals who have demonstrated long term influence in Palm Beach County. There are seven categories for nominees, including small business person of the year, business of the year, non-profit of the year (arts and culture), non-profit of the year (health and human resources), health/science professional of the year, diversity, and the newest category, young professional of the year.
This year the breakfast will take place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Registration for the event is available on the Chamber’s website. Guests may register up until Friday, May 13 at 5:00. The cost to attend is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Tickets at the door may be available at an additional cost depending on the number of people who register. The opportunity to network over coffee will be offered prior to the event.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches is a local organization dedicated to businesses in Palm Beach County. They host events, represent the interests of businesses to local and state government and encourage new businesses to commit to the Palm Beaches. The organization is made up of a diverse group of professionals representing a wide range of industries and business sizes.
Gunster is nominated in the category of business of the year. The firm has a long history in Palm Beach County. Gunster was founded in 1925 and was the first law firm located on Palm Beach island. Today there are 13 Gunster offices located statewide including the headquarters in West Palm Beach.
