Gunster's Freed to speak on philanthropy at Probate and Pumpernickel breakfast programGunster litigator Mike Freed has been tapped to speak on the influence power of philanthropy at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Probate & Pumpernickel series taking place in Orlando on September 18.

The Probate & Pumpernickel educational series takes place frequently around the state of Florida and offers CLE credits to attorneys and CPAs. Freed will be presenting “Leveraged Philanthropy – The Power of One to Influence Many.”

In 2017, Freed launched “Freed to Run” where he ran six marathons in six days to benefit Jacksonville Area Legal Aid – a non-profit dedicated to providing free civil legal assistance to those who could not otherwise afford it.  The inaugural event raised nearly $70,000, which was $30,000 more than the original goal of the project. Freed to Run is now in its second year and is scheduled to take place in December 2018 – this time as a relay-style event.

The complimentary breakfast program begins at 8:00am and will be held at the Citrus Club.

For more information or to attend the event, please visit the Probate & Pumpernickel website.
