Gunster Managing Shareholder H. William PerryGunster Managing Shareholder Bill Perry was interviewed by South Florida Business Journal writer Jeff Zbar about law firm hiring practices as the economy begins its rebound after the recession.

Law practice areas are driven by this economic uptick, Perry told the Journal. For example, Gunster is pursuing maritime law in light of the emerging growth in transportation, logistics and real estate. The firm is also focusing on government affairs, real estate and land use, corporate and tax transactional work, Perry said.

Despite the recession of recent years, Gunster continued to grow, adding attorneys throughout the state, including new offices it opened in Tampa, Orlando and the Florida Keys.
