Gunster attorneys Greg Munson and Phil Sliger authored an article for POWER Magazine entitled “A Review of Air Quality Rules and a Look at 2024,” in which they review the federal air quality regulations that were proposed in 2023 and weigh in on key regulations that could impact the power generation industry in 2024. This includes the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed greenhouse gas rule, which is expected to be the most impactful new regulation for electric power generators.
Greg Munson is a shareholder with the firm and represents regulated industries in the industrial, agricultural, mining, and utility sectors in all areas of state and federal environmental law. He represents clients before Florida’s executive branch agencies, the state’s water management districts, the Division of Administrative Hearings, the Florida governor and cabinet, EPA, and the Florida Legislature. He twice held senior positions at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Phil Sliger is an associate in Gunster’s Orlando office where he is a member of the firm’s Environmental & Land Use Law practice group. He supports a broad range of clients, including developers, utilities, agricultural interests, and public and private companies.
