WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 29, 2009) – Kevin Lamb, a corporate attorney and shareholder at Gunster in West Palm Beach, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Washington & Lee University Alumni Association. He earned his Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts from the prestigious university, which was founded in 1749 in Lexington, Virginia.

With more than 25 years of corporate legal experience across a wide spectrum of industries, Lamb concentrates his practice in corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions; venture capital; private equity; creditors’ rights; and corporate restructurings. Prior to joining Gunster in 2005, Lamb was a partner at one of the nation’s preeminent law firms serving the venture capital industry, the Boston-based law firm of Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, where he served as chair of its bankruptcy practice.

He serves on the board of directors of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, and is an active member of the American Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Florida Venture Forum, and the Bankruptcy Bar Association in the Southern District of Florida. Lamb has been listed as one of the Who’s Who in America since 2000; Who’s Who in American Law since 1996; and has been named one Outstanding Lawyers of America and a Florida Super Lawyer.
