–Tax Attorney Joins Three Colleagues on New Board–
Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 29, 2009)-Janet Buchanan, an associate with Gunster, Attorneys at Law, has been appointed Treasurer to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Area Tax Council. Ms. Buchanan was previously Secretary of this organization which provides a forum for the discussion, education, consideration and debate of international, federal, state and local tax issues.
Ms. Buchanan concentrates her practice on tax and ERISA, Regulatory Compliance and Banking & Finance. She received her juris doctor, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University and has been with Gunster since 2004.
Gunster also has two shareholders on the council’s advisory committee, James B. Davis and Martin Press.
