Former Palm Beach Post Deputy Director of Photography John J. Lopinot to be showcased on www.gunster.com
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (September 15, 2009)-As part of its new website rollout, Gunster, Attorneys at Law is featuring local nature photographers who capture the best representation of Florida’s natural habitat. From September 15 through November 15, the work of photographer John J. Lopinot will be gracing the home page of www.gunster.com.
Lopinot is a nature and underwater photographer based in Palm Beach County. He was a photojournalist and the deputy director of photography at the Palm Beach Post for 33 years. His work has been exhibited widely in South Florida and his photographs have been featured in National Geographic magazine, Time, Newsweek, National Wildlife magazine, The New York Times, World Book Encyclopedia, book covers, audio CDs, posters, calendars, billboards, advertisements and in other national and international publications.

Some of the images that will be featured include an American alligator at Green Cay Wetlands, a lightning bolt striking a mangrove island at sunset, sunrise across the Myakka River, a flock of endangered wood storks, and underwater life such as brain coral from the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, a green moray eel, endangered green sea turtle and a southern ray.
