PALM BEACH, Fla. (December 30, 2008) — Nearly 200 clients, colleagues and attorneys of the law firm of Gunster gathered to share the holiday spirit and good wishes for the New Year at the firm’s holiday reception in its Palm Beach office. In the spirit of giving, all guests brought toys which were distributed to deserving local children through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
“The holiday season is a joyous time to be with those closest to us, but we must always be mindful of those in our community who need our support more than ever this time of year,” said Daniel Hanley, who’s based in the Palm Beach office and head’s the firm’s Private Wealth Services Group. “Thanks to our guests and our own attorneys, we filled a school bus full of donated toys headed toward homes that need a little bit of help to make the holidays bright.”

In the spirit of giving, the 85-year old law firm also recently made a holiday donation to the United Way of Palm Beach County, and coordinated a month-long food drive with proceeds donated to the non-profit organization.
