Fort Lauderdale, FL: December 31, 2008 – The Fort Lauderdale office of Gunster continued its tradition of supporting the Jack and Jill Children’s Center this year by donating hundreds of toys to the organization. For several years, the firm has ‘adopted’ the Jack and Jill Center as one of its beneficiaries. Representatives from the firm brought over huge bags of toys, puzzles, games, books, dolls and gifts.
“It is part of our corporate culture to give back to the community, and for a number of Christmases now, the Jack and Jill Center has been an integral part of that philosophy,” said Fabienne Fahnestock, an attorney with Gunster, and a board member since 2006. “Jack & Jill Children’s Center has always done a wonderful job with children and considering their doors are only a few steps away from ours, this organization is the ideal recipient for our donations.” Gunster has provided holiday cheer to the children of the Jack and Jill Center for the past three years.
