Gunster Shareholder John Moran was recently featured in a podcast by the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC Foundation), highlighting creditors’ rights vs. trustees’ protections.
The focus of the podcast was to discuss deceased settlor trust estates with topics including the code process as well as specific time limitations when it comes to the estates.
Speaking on behalf of Florida laws, John stated “The personal representative of a Florida estate gets a claim and then can request funds if the estate’s a liquid from a decedent’s revocable trust.”
