MIAMI – October 9, 2008 – Gunster Yoakley shareholder Aaron Tandy has been selected to serve as one of the first vice presidents for the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. The organization, which represents the business and civic interests of the greater Miami Beach area, recently changed its by-laws to create these positions.
The newly elected president of the chamber, Aaron Perry of Gulfstream Park, selected Tim Nardi, general manager of the Shore Club, and Tandy for the 2008-09 year.
“Tim and I will be expected to support Aaron’s initiatives, goals and directives and help ease some of the burdens associated with taking on a 500+ member organization which ranges from single person entities to FPL, and from local businesses to those with operations abroad like the Loews Hotel chain,” said Tandy.
