Two prominent Jacksonville law firms have merged. Gunster, one of the city’s largest business law firms, has combined with Pappas Metcalf Jenks & Miller, which focuses exclusively on commercial real estate and land use law.

Gunster was founded in 1925 and has eight locations around the state with its headquarters in West Palm Beach. It entered the Jacksonville market in 2007.

M. Lynn Pappas was chairman of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2002 and has been on its board of governors since 1998.
