Fort Lauderdale, FL (February 5, 2010) – Brian Seymour, shareholder and chair of Gunster’s Environmental & Land Use practice, will participate in the Florida Earth Foundation’s Florida Module on February 5 at Florida Atlantic University’s Fort Lauderdale campus.

Seymour will discuss issues and matters of rural planning and how appropriate rural planning can benefit Florida. He will also moderate the lunchtime speaker’s panel “Planning for Florida’s Future.”

The mission of Florida Earth Foundation is to bring people together through education, public outreach, and facilitation to ensure the future integrity of Florida’s environment and quality of life. The 2-day Florida Module will cover topics as they relate to Florida including geology, geography, economics, government structure, history, urban and rural planning and will feature prominent professors, attorneys and researchers who are experts on the many facets of state of Florida.
