West Palm Beach, Fla. – Gunster, Florida’s law firm for business, is pleased to announce that shareholder Michael Mitrione has been elected to the Executive Committee of The Quantum House. Mitrione will now also serve as Secretary and continues to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors, as he has since 2011.

The Quantum House, based in West Palm Beach, is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment for a serious medical condition in Palm Beach County. The organization opened in 2001 and serves more than 1,300 family members each year.

Mitrione serves on the Board of Directors of Gunster and was chair of the firm’s Corporate practice area for 22 years. He is on the Executive Committee for the North Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees for Max Planck Florida Foundation and was former Chairman of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. He earned both his B.A. and J.D. from Fordham University with honors.
