The Fort Lauderdale office of Gunster Yoakley held an open house at its new Las Olas offices, and encouraged guests as well as its own employees to bring in gifts to support the Jack and Jill Children’s Center.  The response was overwhelming as hundreds and hundreds of toys and gifts piled up, ready for the children of the Center to have a happy holiday season.

“We strongly believe in giving back to the community, and we’ve made it an annual tradition to encourage donations at our holiday party,” said Daniel Mackler, an attorney with Gunster Yoakley in Fort Lauderdale.  “Jack & Jill Children’s Center does such important and valuable work, and it is right in our own backyard, so this was the perfect recipient for our collection.”  Mackler noted that the firm collected and donated gifts to the Jack and Jill Children’s Center for the past two years, as well.

Jack & Jill Children’s Center is a non-profit organization that provides family oriented early childhood education and support to strengthen working families of Broward County. The accredited program supports the intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of young children.
