Judd Recognized by Opera Society at Diva/Impresario Awards
Ft. Lauderdale, FL: Feb. 9, 2007– The Florida Grand Opera honored Robert B. Judd, an attorney with the law firm of Gunster Yoakley, at the recent Diva/Impresario Awards gala sponsored by the Opera Society. Judd, who has been associated with the Opera for the past 10 years, was recognized for his long-term support of the organization and his continuous efforts in helping identify and develop opportunities for the Opera’s growth and success. The Opera Society is the Broward County affiliate of the Florida Grand Opera.
“I am honored to receive recognition from the Opera Society, and to lend my support to this outstanding organization,” said Judd. “In the past 10 years, I’ve seen the Opera flourish, bringing wonderful and creative productions to South Florida.”
Judd spent five years on the Opera’s board of directors, and also served on the finance committee. He has worked closely with other board members and the executive team at the Opera to help support their fundraising and membership efforts.
Robert Judd is a shareholder and member of the firm’s Litigation and Private Wealth Services Departments. He focuses his practice in the area of estate and trust-related litigation and administration as well as estate planning. He earned his J.D. from Catholic University.
Judd was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985 and is a Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section Circuit representative and executive council member. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association, Broward County Estate Planning Council and Broward County Planned Giving Council.
