West Palm Beach, Fla. – Gunster, Florida’s law firm for business, is pleased to announce that shareholder Joe Raia has been appointed co-chair of the International Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s International Law section for 2012-13.

According to the ABA, the International law section has more than 20,000 members in 90 countries and leads in the development of policy, the promotion of the rule of law, and education of international law practitioners.

Raia is co-chair of Gunster’s international practice. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and counseling including international matters and white-collar crime.

Raia earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, and his A.B. from the University of Miami, cum laude.
