In 2006, six companies from diverse business sectors came together to form the Key Players. The partners are Gunster Yoakley, Daszkal Bolton, Cross Keys Capital, The Rector Group, Ajilon, and Bank of Florida. Each partner brings different capabilities to the table, ranging from legal to accounting to human resources and finance.
According to Greg Bader, a shareholder with Gunster Yoakley, the Key Players is a high-level networking group that is designed to help build better relationships between the partners and significant contacts. “The recent networking cruise brought together approximately 60 key individuals from the Fort Lauderdale area in a casual environment for some business networking,” said Bader. “Our goal is to make networking both enjoyable and productive by bringing top professionals together in a relaxed atmosphere.”
This was the second cruise of its type. Bob White, also a Gunster Yoakley shareholder, anticipates other cruises in the future, given the success of the first two cruises. White added, “We also plan to do some land-based events starting this summer.”
