Transportation & Expressway Authority Membership of Florida (TEAMFL) held its quarterly meeting on Friday, October 21 at the Sawgrass Resort and Conference Center in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. In attendance were more than 150 leaders of the public and private surface transportation interests from across the state.
The keynote address was given by Florida Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll. Michael Cavendish, chairman of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) and a shareholder of Gunster introduced Lt. Governor Carroll and spoke about Public Outreach on Transportation in an Uncertain World.
TEAMFL was formed in 1997 to facilitate the exchange of information among toll agencies and the transportation industry. The membership is made up of board members and executive staff of statewide expressway and transit authorities, the Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Transportation Commission and private sector transportation partners. TEAMFL members discuss statewide issues in an effort to develop high quality roadway systems in all corners of the state.
