Gunster is pleased to announce that Thea Pitzen has joined its Jacksonville office as an associate with its Business Litigation practice.

Pitzen received her juris doctor from Emory University Law School and her bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, in International Relations from New York University. While in law school, Pitzen authored “Protecting the Innocent: Children’s Act 38 of 2005 and Customary Law in South Africa–Conflicts, Consequences and Possible Solutions” which was published in 22 Emory Int’l. Law Rev. 891 in 2008. She was also the president of the Emory Immigration Law Society and Executive Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review.
