Firm’s First Miami-based Private Wealth Attorney
February 8, 2010 (Miami, FL) – Thomas M. Karr has joined Gunster, Attorneys at Law as a shareholder in the firm’s Private Wealth Services practice. He will be the first Private Wealth Services attorney for the firm’s Miami office and will help grow Gunster’s presence within this area of practice in South Florida.
Karr, a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, will concentrate his area of practice in Probate, Trust and Guardianship litigation. He has experience with complex probate and fiduciary litigation as well as commercial litigation, class actions, securities fraud, product liability, complex insurance matters and lender liability litigation.
He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, co vice-chair of the Probate and Trust Litigation Committee of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar, a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property and Trust Law section and is a circuit representative to the Executive Council from the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
