Josh is an experienced litigator with over a decade of experience in large-scale commercial litigation and arbitration.  Josh works closely with trial teams and eDiscovery specialists in an effort to design, implement, and manage efficient and effective strategies and processes using innovative technology to both review documents for production, as well as to organize and strategically review document productions received from adversaries and third parties.

Josh works with clients across many industry sectors, with significant experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Gunster, Josh managed the day-to-day operations of an eDiscovery and legal review team for a large international law firm servicing the office’s litigation and arbitration departments, and represented a large investment bank in large and complex adversary and bankruptcy proceedings.

Josh is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and spent almost four years at a large public accounting firm auditing financial services and investment management companies.  

  • Represented large investment bank and some of its broker-dealer subsidiaries in multiple adversary proceedings arising out of its bankruptcy including managing a review team responsible for the review of hundreds of thousands of documents in adversary proceedings regarding claims concerning breach of contract, liquidation of collateral, and the early termination of tens of thousands of derivatives trades.
  • Represented large investment bank and managed a review team responsible for the review of tens of thousands of documents in response to various subpoenas from financial regulators and government agencies.
  • Represented large technology company and oversaw review of hundreds of thousands of documents in response to requests from financial regulators and government agencies.
