Turnbull, a third-generation central-Floridian who will be joining the firm’s environmental lawyers & land use law practice as a shareholder and leading the firm’s land use practice in central Florida. With close personal and professional ties to the region and a specialized focus on Florida statewide, Turnbull will lend new perspective and opportunities to the practice.

Turnbull advises on real estate development, with an emphasis on the procurement and retention of land use entitlements. She works with local governments throughout central Florida to address client needs relating to zoning, comprehensive plans, concurrency, infrastructure finance and development, developments of regional impact (DRIs), procurement issues, due diligence and property rights. Her lobbying experience at both the local and state level, as well as her extensive professional network, legal proficiency and in-depth knowledge of the Florida marketplace, bring a competitive edge to clients and the firm.

Involved in a variety of complex development projects throughout state, Turnbull has paved the way for urban high-rise developments, hotel and resort properties, office projects, single family home and multifamily apartment developments, master-planned communities and more. She serves as lead counsel on major local projects, including the I-4 ultimate highway reconstruction project, Tribune Media’s redevelopment of two city blocks in the center of downtown Orlando, and Universal Orlando’s purchase of 450 acres of tourism corridor property.

A recognized leader in land use law and a third-generation Winter Park native, Turnbull is involved in many community organizations throughout greater Orlando.

She earned her J.D. from Florida State University’s College of Law, and her B.S. in economics from the same alma mater. Turnbull currently resides in her hometown of Winter Park with her family.
