Leadership Florida is holding its 2016 annual meeting June 23-June 26 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida.
Each year, Leadership Florida convenes for a conference where members have the chance to reconnect over an array of interactive programming events and activities. This year’s event is host to speakers such as, Disney president George Kalogridis, political polling expert Kristen Soltis Anderson and Pulitzer Prize winning and New York Times bestselling author Jon Meacham. These speakers along with a focused theme of “disrupted times” will concentrate on some of Florida’s and the nation’s most featured topics.
Leadership Florida is a non-profit organization that focuses on identifying state leaders that are committed to the issues and topics specific to Florida. These leaders come together for the purpose of improving Florida and serving its communities statewide. The Leadership Florida members strive to create pathways of information, communication, and opportunities for Floridians.

Last year Gunster attorney, Roger W. Feicht, was named chair of Connect Florida’s board of governors for the 2015-16 term. He has served on the board since 2012.
Feicht will lead the board, which operates the highly selective Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute, Leadership Florida’s young professionals program. Connect Florida’s mission is to educate, engage and inspire the state’s emerging leaders.
