Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce several changes to the firm’s leadership team, which includes new members to its Board of Directors, Practice Group Leaders and Office Shareholders. 

The newly elected Board of Directors are Joseph Santoro, Julia Holden Davis, Mario Garcia-Serra and William Schifino Jr, joining Chairman of the Board George LeMieux, CEO and Managing Shareholder H. William Perry, and Shareholder Elaine Bucher in this role. David Wells and David Bates roll off the Board after serving for 12 and eight years, respectively. 

The firm also made changes to its Practice Group Leaders. Moving into this role are: Brian McPherson for Labor & Employment Law; Danielle Devito-Hurley in the Real Property practice, alongside Brian Seymour; Mariana Ribeiro for Immigration Law, alongside Sarah Tobocman; and David Bates in the Corporate practice. Joseph Santoro, Daniel Mackler and Michael Mitrione step down after their longstanding service as Practice Group Leaders for the Labor & Employment Law, Real Estate Law and Corporate Law practices, respectively. Other Practice Group Leaders include James Davis and Adi Rappaport (Tax Law); John Little (Business Litigation); Daniel Hanley, William Hennessey and Lisa Schneider (Private Wealth Services); and Government Affairs Law & Lobbying (Ronald Brisé).

Gunster added two new Office Managing Shareholders: John Cole in Jacksonville, Beth Keating in Tallahassee and John Schifino in Tampa.

New this year, the firm established a Pro Bono Committee to manage its pro bono efforts around the state. Sarah Tobocman and David Wells will co-chair the Committee.

Finally, the Real Estate practice welcomed Shareholder Brad McPherson as the new CEO to its affiliated title company, Premier Title.
