Overview
Max is an attorney based in Gunster’s Tampa office and a member of the firm’s Private Wealth Services practice group. He focuses his practice on estate planning, estate administration, asset protection, tax-exempt/nonprofit organizations, and federal and state taxation.
Dedicated to creating tailored estate plans that preserve wealth and minimize tax for his clients, Max excels in creating sophisticated business structures, trust agreements, charitable giving strategies, and succession plans that aim to protect his clients’ assets and preserve their legacies according to their wishes. Max’s previous experience in trust and estate litigation and proficiency in estate administration allows him to offer thoughtful solutions that seek to prevent intrafamily disputes in the future while minimizing administrative cost and burden when transferring assets from one generation to the next.
In addition to his work in estate planning and administration, Max advises tax-exempt organizations, including charities, foundations, and educational institutions. He assists these entities in obtaining and maintaining their tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, while also providing strategic counsel on compliance issues and governance matters.
