Andrew Bayer is an associate in Gunster’s Fort Lauderdale office and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Banking & Financial Services practice groups. He concentrates his practice on complex business matters, including corporate finance and securities transactions, venture capital investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Andrew also regularly advises banks and companies in connection with federal and state banking and securities regulations.
Before joining the firm, Andrew worked as a finance associate at two large international law firms, where he represented investment banks, commercial banks, direct lenders and private equity sponsors in a wide variety of leveraged finance transactions, and was seconded to a bulge-bracket investment bank.
Andrew graduated cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2018. While in law school, he served as a senior editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, a student-attorney in the Social Enterprise and Nonprofit Law clinic, and an intern with FINRA and a large software company.
