Raymond Miller joined the firm in 2000. A business litigator in every sense, Ray is involved in civil jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations and appeals. His trial experience includes the handling of matters in federal and state courts, arbitrations and appearances before administrative tribunals and self-regulatory organizations. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In an era where few lawyers go to trial, Ray does… and often. An experienced advocate to the core, Ray is valued by his clients and colleagues alike for his ability to take a case all the way through trial and appeal when necessary. When a negotiated agreement or settlement cannot be reached, Ray is an ardent litigator whose courtroom abilities have often resulted in an advantage to his clients. Ray knows how to assemble the right team of lawyers and professionals in order to execute a tenacious court battle. Ray’s ability, particularly in court, before judges and juries, at arbitration and in mediation allows him to identify and seize opportunities for favorable settlement when and where it benefits his clients, and to try the case when necessary.

He has handled a wide variety of jury and non-jury matters in many forums including securities disputes, inter-creditor contests, trademark cases, corporate valuation matters, defamation actions, employment related claims, creditor’s rights cases and other contract and tort matters, as well as contested and adversary matters in bankruptcy courts. Some cases don’t settle, and only some lawyers are prepared for that — Ray is a lawyer who is ready to go the distance when necessary.
